Fire up quick, healthy stir-fries with the Tefal Excellence Ceramic wok, a roomy 28 cm pan finished in Tefal's reinforced ceramic "Shock Shield" non-stick. The FusionCore ceramic coating is built to last several times longer than Tefal's standard non-stick — it resists scratches and stands up to metal utensils — while its slick surface lets you cook with little or no added oil and clean up in seconds. High, sloping sides and a wide flat base make it easy to toss and stir vegetables, meat and seafood over high heat for even, fast cooking, and a built-in pouring rim keeps sauces off your hob. Tefal's T-Thermo-Signal indicator changes colour when the pan reaches the ideal cooking temperature (around 180 °C), so you always add ingredients at exactly the right moment. A thick Thermo-Fusion+ base with a wide induction zone spreads heat quickly and evenly across every hob — gas, electric, ceramic and induction — and a sturdy bakelite handle with a polished steel accent keeps a secure, comfortable grip. The aluminium body is made from 100% recycled aluminium, and the pan is designed and made in France.
