Makita's brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently — delivering up to 50% more runtime per charge, more torque per weight, and a longer, maintenance-free life than brushed motors. It puts out up to 54 Nm of fastening torque (60 Nm max) through a two-speed transmission (0–500 / 0–2,000 rpm), with up to 30,000 impacts per minute in hammer mode for fast masonry drilling. An all-metal gearbox in a rigid aluminium housing, electric brake, 21 clutch settings, and a 13mm keyless chuck make it tough and versatile, while twin LED lights (with pre-glow/afterglow) and XPT dust- and water-resistance suit demanding jobsites.
