The Inventum VK952W freestanding chest freezer has a capacity of 198 liters. This 4-star appliance with Low Frost and Super Freezing has a freezing capacity of 9 kg/24h and energy class E. You can easily set the temperature using the digital thermostat. An alarm sounds if the temperature in the freezer becomes too high. The chest freezer is easy to move thanks to the 2 wheels and is suitable for placement in a room down to -15°C, such as a garage. The handy removable hanging storage basket allows you to easily access smaller food items. Defrosting the chest freezer is simple with the defrost water drain and the included ice scraper. 

Super freezing

You use the super freeze function to quickly bring larger quantities of food to the correct temperature. This prevents products already in the appliance from warming up, allowing you to store all food items for longer.

Low Frost

You only need to defrost this Low Frost chest freezer 2 to 3 times a year. Thanks to a special technique, moisture inside the appliance evaporates faster and does not have a chance to freeze. As a result, there is less ice build-up on the inside and on your food. This keeps everything fresh for longer. Cleaning is also faster and easier because of this.

Set temperature

The temperature is displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit. You can set the temperature from +10°C to -30°C (+50°F to -22°F) by repeatedly pressing the TEMP button briefly. If this does not work, the button may be locked. You can unlock the button by pressing and holding the SUPER button for 3 seconds.

Freezing capacity

This is the amount of food in kilograms (kg) that you can freeze in a 24-hour period. If you freeze more than this amount, the temperature in the freezer will rise too much. As a result, the products already in the freezer will thaw slightly, which compromises their quality.

Power outage storage time

For a freezer and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, the storage time during a power outage is stated. If it says, for example, 8 hours, then your frozen food will remain kept at the correct temperature for 8 hours if the power goes out and you keep the door or lid of the appliance closed.
