This Intex Krystal Clear SX2100 sand filter pump circulates and cleans up to 2,100 gallons (about 7,950 litres) per hour, driven by a 0.30 HP motor, and is sized for bigger above-ground pools (roughly 8,000–31,800 L water capacity, depending on turnover). It runs on ordinary pool filter sand rather than cartridges — and because the sand only needs replacing about every 4–5 years, it's a genuinely low-maintenance, cost-effective way to filter.

A 6-function control valve (filter, backwash, rinse, recirculate, drain, close) makes upkeep simple, a built-in 24-hour timer runs the pump automatically each day, and a pressure gauge plus strainer basket help you monitor the system and keep it clean. ⚠️ Voltage — read before buying: This is the 220–240 V version. Curaçao's mains supply is 127 V, so this pump will not run plugged directly into a local outlet — it needs a step-up transformer (127 V → 220–240 V) rated for the motor's load.
